MDS Colorado Features

Custom-Designed for Colorado. This special version of MDS brings the power and sophistication of MDS Standard to the Public Trustees of Colorado. In addition to the features of MDS Standard, MDS Colorado includes the following additional features to meet the unique requirements of the Colorado foreclosure process.

Colorado Workflow. Files are processed through a sequence of events based on Colorado statutory requirements. MDS Colorado also supports the Expedited Schedule introduced in 2010.

Built-In eRecording. This optional module can help lower your costs and increase efficiency by eliminating the recording of physical documents. You can receive your recorded documents within minutes of submission and download recording information from the recorder's office directly into your database.

Special Event Issues. The "paperless" equivalent to placing sticky notes on file folders, File Issues are used when circumstances exist in a file that you want to be brought to the attention of anyone who accesses the file. Issues also allow you to place the file's workflow schedule on hold, and resume the file schedule at a prior event, if necessary. MDS for Colorado Public Trustees features special event issues to automate the handling of events when a bankruptcy is filed during the foreclosure.

Deferment Issues. A series of file issues that automate the deferment process, issuing sale continuances (postponements) as necessary.
