MDS Standard Features

Multi-State Support. MDS is designed to fit the procedures and protocols as precisely as possible for efficient default management in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Utah and Washington. Support for additional states can be added on an as-needed basis.

Event-Based Workflow. Files are processed through a sequence of events (based on statutory requirements), most of which are initiated from the user's worklist of assigned events by double-clicking on the file/event to be processed. Some events require the entry of data for a file, and some are audits of information already entered. Most events are completed by the user clicking a button on an entry screen signifying its completion. Some events are completed automatically by MDS when a particular document is scanned into the file.

Excel Reports. MDS creates reports as Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, making it easy for you to analyze your data. MDS reports cover all the vital statistics, such as Compliance, Employee Productivity, File Hold Issues, Sales, and more. Power users can create custom reports in Microsoft Access, and WaveSpark is always available to create custom reports for you.

Auto Emails. Many events in the foreclosure process require emailing vendors. MDS makes this a breeze by generating pre-written form letters, complete with file data, in Microsoft Outlook. Most emails can be sent as-is, but you can always customize a message before sending.

Comments QuickStart. Enter comments into a file without leaving the file you're currently working with. Comments QuickStart also enables you to send emails to various file-related recipients, and saves a copy of the message in file comments.

Postponements. Postponements are entered with just a few clicks of the mouse. Any remaining publications are automatically canceled.

File Issues. The "paperless" equivalent to placing sticky notes on file folders, File Issues are used when circumstances exist in a file that you want to be brought to the attention of anyone who accesses the file. Issues also allow you to place the file's workflow schedule on hold, and resume the file schedule at a prior event, if necessary.

Document Imaging. Throughout the workflow process, MDS creates file documents in Microsoft Word and TIFF format, and you may receive documents in various formats from external sources. All documents and images are easily accessible to you through an organized set of folders in MDS Image Viewer.

Built-In Safeguards. MDS helps you to avoid costly mistakes by warning you when required information or documents are missing or invalid.
